Series Overview
Make It or Break It is an American television drama that has been picked up for broadcast on ABC Family network in 2009. It is a drama focusing on the lives of teen gymnasts who strive to make it to the Olympics. The series premiered on Monday, June 22, 2009 at 9:00 pm with a total of 2.5 million viewers.
The show, set in the world of competitive gymnastics, follows a group of teen Olympic hopefuls in Colorado as they prepare for their day in the spotlight.
In March 2009, it was announced that Candace Cameron Bure joined the cast and will play the soon-to-be step-mom to Lauren, one of the top female gymnasts.
Plot[]
The show focuses on a top gym in Colorado called the Rock where the four main charcters train. the four main characters are drama queen Lauren, strict Payson, sweet Kaylie and new girl Emily. Through out the the show the girls have conflicts and secrets they keep from one another. The girls get in many fights because of the strict rules of gymnastics. The show follows four elite gymnasts' lives on the dangerous road to the Olympics.
